Kamran is a Principal at Inspired Capital. Prior to Inspired, he was an investor at Point72, where he invested across public and private markets.
Kamran invests across all sectors, with a particular interest in software products that deliver step-change improvements to underexplored markets. He is especially passionate about partnering with founders who are reimagining the industrial economy and shaping the future of commerce.
Kamran brings over a decade of experience supporting companies at every stage of growth—from pre-revenue through IPO. He thrives on rolling up his sleeves and putting in the work to help founders succeed—whether it’s analyzing financial models, assembling world-class teams, or serving as a trusted sounding board for critical decisions. Above all, Kamran is dedicated to building high-conviction, high-trust relationships with the entrepreneurs he partners with. He takes pride in often being a founder’s first institutional investor and believer, and his goal is to be the person founders turn to in the moments that matter most.

Kamran began his career in investment banking at Goldman Sachs, first in the Consumer, Retail, and Healthcare Group, and later in the Financial Institutions Group, where he worked on M&A, IPOs, spin-offs, and activism defense.
Kamran has been recognized as a Forbes 30 Under 30 in Venture Capital and earned a B.A. in Economics and Public Policy from Dartmouth College.
